3PLEX

2005

3Plex project

The 3Plex project invited a visual artist, a designer and an architect to respond to the same brief, using identical materials, tools, time and space. Across three stages from September to November 2005, each built on the others’ creations.

Huting & De Hoop designed a bar that replaces the bartender with a movable fridge, encouraging people to serve themselves and interact with one another.
